Last Mile Connectivity & WiFi Supply and Installation in Uganda

The National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U) invites bids for design, supply, installation, integration, and support of last mile connectivity and WiFi infrastructure for government ministries, local governments, target user groups, and refugee communities under two lots. The project is financed by the World Bank as part of the Uganda Digital Acceleration Project. Lot 1 covers fiber-based connectivity including XGS-PON, IP equipment, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and hybrid power systems; Lot 2 covers satellite connectivity solutions. The deadline for submission is 16 November 2026 at 11:00 EAT. The procurement follows an international competitive bidding process with a single stage-two envelope Request for Proposals. Documents can be purchased from NITA-U after payment of a fee. Pre-proposal meeting on 14 October 2026.
