Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing and Commissioning Contract for Mpatamanga Hydropower Project in Malawi

Mpatamanga Hydro Power Limited (MHPL) in Malawi invites eligible applicants to participate in the prequalification for the engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the Mpatamanga Hydropower Storage Project with a total capacity of 365.6 MW. The project is financed by the World Bank, IFC, among others. Selection will identify 1 to 3 contractors for pre-construction services. The Initial Selection Document is free and available electronically via the Employer’s virtual data room from September 21, 2026, after signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement. A pre-application meeting and site visit are scheduled in September and October 2026. Application deadline is November 13, 2026, with electronic submission only.
