Recruitment of Senior Statistician I for Ethiopian Statistical Service

Summary

The Ethiopian Statistical Service (ESS) seeks to recruit a Senior Statistician I under the Modernizing Ethiopia's Statistical System Project financed by the World Bank. The position is based in Addis Ababa with a 12-month contract, renewable annually up to 2031. The consultant will lead activities related to administrative data harmonization, data quality assurance, metadata management, institutional coordination, and capacity development within Ethiopia’s National Statistical System. Applicants must hold a Master's degree in statistics or related fields, have at least 10 years of relevant experience, and be fluent in Amharic and English.
