Summary
The Niger Integrated Landscape Management Project (PGIP), funded by the World Bank, invites bids for stocking six ponds in the regions of Dosso, Tahoua, Tillaberi and Zinder. The procurement method is a request for quotations open to eligible bidders from eligible countries. Bidders must have satisfactorily completed at least two similar stocking contracts in the last five years and supply updated legal documents. Offers must be submitted physically by November 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM to the PGIP Management Unit. The bidding documents are available upon written request.

Guide: World Bank-financed contracts
Who may bid
Firms from all countries, except sanctions (Bank debarment list, UN sanctions). National competitive bidding stays open to foreign firms. A domestic preference margin sometimes applies. Joint ventures are accepted.
Who signs and who pays
The contract is signed with the country’s administration (ministry, project unit), not with the World Bank. Payment comes from the Bank’s loan or grant: through the project account or by direct payment from the Bank to the supplier. Usual pattern: 10–20% advance against a guarantee, then payments on delivery or progress.
The steps
1. Read the notice and obtain the documents. 2. Check the criteria: experience, turnover, similar contracts. 3. Prepare the bid security or bid-securing declaration. 4. Send your questions before the clarification deadline. 5. Submit on time, then follow the bid opening.
